1. Genaral, mandatory information

Protection of your personal information is important to us. We strictly treat any personal data confidential, and according to German and European laws, and according to this privacy policy. Information on this website and it's sub-pages wiki.icomp.de and forum.icomp.de can be viewed without entering personal information.

Objection against advertising

2. Collection of non-personal data

Our servers are writing log files where information about any page visit is stored. The information is provided by your internet browser:

We do not combine this data with any other data source. Only in case of an error, these log files will be looked at. The legal foundation for storing this information is Art. 6 Abs. 1 lit. b DSGVO, which allows processing data in preparation or fulfilling a contract.

Log files are held for a maximum of 14 days for security reasons, for example to solve criminal or other abuse of this website. After this 14-day period, log files are automatically deleted. Should the files be required as legal evidence, they will not be deleted until the case is fully solved, so they are excluded from automatic deletion. In the case of long-term contracts, such as software downloads, the data is stored for the entire duration of the contract.

3. Collection of personal data

Personal data is data the allows us to identify you as a person. This privacy policy explains how we collect data, and how we make use of it. We only collect personal data if you log into the website with your user account, or if you place an order. We will store your name, address, possibly a different shipping address and your e-Mail address. In any case, personal data entry is only made mandatory if we really require this information to fulfil a contract. The legal foundation to process this data is - once again - Art. 6 Abs. 1 lit. b DSGVO, because we require this data to fulfil the contract with you.

You can register as a member on this website to make use of additional functions. The personal data that you enter will only be used to fulfil offerings that you have registered for. Mandatory fields must be completed, otherwise we may refuse your registration.

For important changes, such as changes to terms and conditions, changes to this privacy policy or required technical changes, we may use your e-Mail address to inform you.

Within lawful limits, we disclose invoice data to our tax advisor (name, address, date, ordered goods and total amount). The same data may be disclosed to tax authorities upon request. The purpose of this disclosure is administration, financial accounting, office organization and archival of data, which is required for maintaining business operations and serving our clients.

If you choose PayPal as payment provider, our website will transfer your order- and address data, so PayPal can fulfil the insurance service in addition to the payment service. In addition to that, PayPal will transfer the eMail address to us that you use as your main e-mail address for PayPal. We reserve the right to use that address for contacting you, should this be required (for example if you mis-typed your e-mail address in our order form). The provider of this service is PayPal (Europe) S.à.r.l. et Cie, S.C.A., 22-24 Boulevard Royal, L-2449 Luxembourg.

If you choose to make a SEPA wire transfer, your bank will disclose your IBAN and the full name of the account holder to us. Data transfer from iComp to the bank does not happen. Our bank is WISE EUROPE S.A, FLOOR 3, RUE DU TRONE 100, BRUSSELS, Belgium.

We only store information from payment providers to fulfil legally required safekeeping periods for account statements. Combining this data with other data sources does not happen.

For delivery of ordered goods, we disclose the delivery address to UPS: United Parcel Service Deutschland S.à r.l. & Co. OHG, Goerlitzer Straße 1, 41460 Neuss.

5. Cookies

Our shop site does not use Cookies. Only our support forum under forum.icomp.de uses cookies for easily finding new postings since your last visit. You can delete this cookie in your browser on your own. It does not contain any personal data.

6. Tracker, Analytics

Our web sites do not use any trackers or analytics plugins, and we are not planning to change this.

7. Your rights

7.1 Revocation of your consent for processing data
